HT Solutionsllc - (FAQ) 1. Is HT Solutions llc licenced and insured?
Yes, we are licenced as a builder in state of Micigan. You can verify our licence at . We also hold liability insurance.
2. How are projects sized so that I can determine if my project would be a best fit for HT Solutions llc?
We try to size a project based on ft2/ m2 , however, this is not always the case in sizing a project. We also scale the complexity of the project which may involve multiple subcontrators to complete. For example a bathroom tile project may fall within a small project but a major bathroom remodel may be too large. As our company grows so will our project sizes.
3. Why do you not take on larger projects?
We scale our project size by how our cmpany can handle projects. We also evalute our subscontractors to give our customers' project the proper attention. We believe that growing too quicky or having too much work does not benifit the customer and their project.
4. Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. Sometimes we can quote small handyman projects right over the phone. With remodeling projects we like to come out and meet the customer. When we meet with you we will take pictures, measurements, notes and let you tell us your needs. While speaking with you we can give you "Solutions" to those unanswered questions that you may have. At the end of the meeting we do not hand you an the estimate. We take our notes, pictures, and measurements back to office and personalize the quote on what we discussed. Within a few days we will fax, mail, or email your quote to you. We feel that this is the best approach because it allows us to give you our best estimate on your needs.
5. What is in the estimate?
We beleive in docuementing everything. Our estimates are detailed in describing what the project is going to involve, from materials, to labor. We put your information right into our computer system so that your estimate can be updated and reviewed for future needs. The estimate is the document that will allow you to decide if Home & Technical Solutions is right for your project. With your decision we want to give you the best information that we can.
6. Do you low ball other bidders for my project?
No. We give our customers our best estimate for their project. We will not bid lower just to receive projects. Our quality and attitude towards business are just as important as the services we provide to our customers.
7. You speak about quality do you have a portfolio to show me?
Yes, you can click here to see our photo gallery. In our gallery we have before and after photos that you can view of the various projects that we have completed.
8. Do you use subcontractors?
Yes. There are some jobs that even we leave up to the professional or the licenced proffessional. We subcontact out to licenced electricians and plumbers. We also use professional drywallers. If your project requires a large amount of drywall we will subcontract out the work.
Note: A licence is required in the state of Michigan for builders, electricians, and plumbers.
9. How do you verify quality of your subcontractors?
This is very difficult and hard to evaluate and control. However, we stay on top of what our subcontractors are doing on your project. We have a core of great subcontractors that have qualities that are hard to find. This core group has qualities of being on time, fully completing the project, using qaulity items, and communicating their progress.
10. How many years of experience you have?
Our experience varies with the type of project our customer has us do. We have 5+ years of general experience that include items like modling, painting, drywall repair, insulation, handyman jobs, etc. Our more proffessional experince is focusing on tiling projects. Also since we are not highly specialized in drywalling we do sub contract out to drywallers that are professionals.
11. How long has HT Solutions been in bussiness?
We have been in business going on 2 years. So far we are not advertising the business due to more than anticipated work. The projects that we have worked can all be located by click here.
12. Don't most business fail withing 5 years? How do I know that you will be around for my warranty work?
We have been very successful in our first two years of business. We have worked on developing quality field work but we have also been working in the back office to keep our business model on track. We have worked hard on making sure that we stay in business for years to come. We will keep our promises and warrant our projects accordinly that are stated in our contracts for the project.
13. What is stated in your contracts?
Contracts are required on our medium sized projects. These projects are usually projects that will last three or more weeks. A bathroom remodel will require a contract due to all the sub projects that will be happening (drywall, electrical, plumbing, etc). The contract is the agreement between the owner and HT Solutions on what will take place for the project.
